Our AKD series is a complete line of Ethernet-based servo drives. Fast and flexible, our drives have a multitude of features and can be easily integrated into all types of applications. They offer advanced technologies and exceptional performance, all in one of the most compact formats in the industry. With their many features, these drives offer a solution for virtually any application, from torque, speed or position control to programmable multi-axis motion with the integrated Kollmorgen Automation Suite™. The versatile AKD drive sets the benchmark for power density and performance. the S700 and S300 series drives (compact version) can control rotary synchronous servomotors, induction machines, HF motors, DC motors, as well as direct-coupled rotary and linear motors. The S300 drive has a cogging suppression function within set travel distances. This function has been specially designed for applications with strict requirements in terms of synchronization. Even linear motors can be operated at extremely slow speeds with a high level of synchronous precision. The configuration software contains comprehensive resources and approaches for all application options.
