Deburr and polish your turbine discs up to a diam. of 650 mm and a weight of 200 kg with a stable, homogeneous process, WITHOUT ROBOT and certified GE AVIATION.
Aircraft engine turbines have to withstand very high temperatures and pressure variations. This is why they are made of high-tech materials such as nickel-based superalloys. Nickel-based superalloys have very good resistance to high temperatures and stresses. It is important to adhere to strategy best practices as these materials are difficult to machine.
There are different connection technologies between the disc and the blade depending on the manufacturers and the compressors. But the 0 burr objective is common to the 3 main types of fasteners, namely: the hammer fastener, the tree stand fastener and the dovetail fastener.
