Created in Lempdes-sur-Allagnon in Auvergne, IPS Thermolaquage is a series production unit that is part of the Siel group, a major player in the sign and signage market, since 2008. IPS Thermolaquage puts its know-how to the service of your projects. Reactive and flexible, we put our passion forward in order to support you in your approach and meet your expectations. Located in the heart of an industrial basin, our geographical position (near the A75 motorway) allows us to meet the needs of our customers throughout the territory. We have a high-performance production tool that allows us to operate in different sectors by adapting to the defined specifications.

Powder coating

Powder coating consists of spraying a polyester or epoxy powder, the appearance and color of which are defined according to your needs, on a previously treated metal part (aluminum, steel, stainless steel, etc.). Once the part has been treated and powdered, it is then baked at 200° in order to fix the powder to the metal by polymerization. Finally, the parts are checked (visual appearance, powder thickness, shine, etc.) before being wrapped and packaged.

At IPS

Our production capacities allow us to offer you our services on steel and aluminium. We offer the powder coating of your aluminum parts under the QUALILAQUAGE label. This label was designed to guarantee the superior quality of thermo-lacquered aluminum parts intended for architecture. The production process therefore meets strict specifications (chemical treatment, reinforced controls, daily tests, etc.)

Our offer also includes the supply of lacquered aluminum sheets for bending. Many tests carried out daily allow us to guarantee the bending ability of our sheets according to the characteristics and to provide you with a corresponding bending recommendation. For each production, we produce representative sample plates which are folded and checked to ensure the conformity of the sheets.

Sheet metal forming

IPS Thermolaquage through the SIEL group is also able to offer you sheet metal solutions with laser cutting, bending, sheet rolling, milling, etc. (SIEL site link)

We provide you with a complete service with integrated sheet metal forming and powder coating, which allows you to have a single production for the supply of a finished assembly, whether for your railing infills, view, facade cladding…

Thanks to our computer graphics and methods services, we can carry out your projects from a dedicated file or a simple photo. To always be more in line with your desires, all files are first validated on BAT before launching into production. Our unit has a powder coating line to process parts up to 6 m long, 2 m high and 80 cm wide for a maximum weight of 180 kg. The process is made up of 2 chemical treatment tunnels by aluminum or steel spraying, a drying oven, 2 powder application booths: an automatic booth called "rapid color change" and a manual booth for small quantities, a baking tunnel at 220°C and a permanent quality control laboratory. Our production chain allows us to have reduced and flexible lead times. Indeed, thanks to our automatic powder booth, we are able to change color quickly and use up to 45 different colors per day and thus adapt our production to the needs of our customers.

Qualification and guarantees

Our production chain, through our surface treatment baths, allows us to have the QUALILAQUAGE label and to offer our customers a ten-year guarantee of powder resistance on an aluminum support. Thanks to our efficient production tool, we are also able to offer you the supply of lacquered aluminum sheets suitable for bending.
